AstroChat for Sun in Pisces 2011

There has been much talk about the 13th sign, Ophiuchus, and how it affects our astrological make up. Astrologers believe that when a star or planet comes to the attention of humanity that it is the right timing to integrate its meaning into the collective.

Here's a quote from a wonderful astrology book, Mythic Astrology, published in 1993, by Kenneth Johnson and Ariel Guttman, "Toward the end of Scorpio there is a constellation called Ophiuchus, pictured as a giant wresting with a serpent. The holder of the serpent is Asclepius, the healer and honor student of Chiron. Because this constellation was slightly off the ecliptic when the zodiac we now use was formed, it was not included as a sign. (In fact, Ophiuchus sits "above" Scorpio.) But because of the precession of the equinoxes, today the Sun spends more time in this constellation than it actually does in Scorpio. Thus, before we can finally emerge from Scorpio and enter into the light of Sagittarius, we must wrestle with this serpent, a process most...are familiar with, and one which each handles differently."
